IN THEIR OWN WORDS

A Letter From the Founders

In early 2008 we spent 3 months in Kenya and on our way home we laid over in London for a few days. On a rainy day in a little restaurant under the Tower Bridge God began to download to us His plan for “Count Me In” and we filled our paper menu with dreams and vision from Him. It has been an amazing journey since then as we have seen thousands of young people touched through ‘Count Me In’ camps and mission trips.

We have been transformed by the stories of the young people that have joined with us along the way. We will never forget the image of Lisa, a 16 year old standing in the slums of Nairobi, holding an infant as she wept and told us that her tears were not because she felt sorry for the little girl - but because she could feel the love of God for her. Another moment that touched us happened on our first trip to Kenya - as we hosted the teen camp. The very students that we took to serve from the states, were the first to flood the altar. It's amazing to see how what started with 60 teens has now reached over 4,000 lives in just 4 years.

We are excited that God has opened new doors for us to host Count Me In USA. Last year we connected with 8 different youth groups and we are adding more for this year. He has blessed us with so many life changing relationships over the years and we can’t wait to see what He has in store.

May Jesus take over your lives completely until you are hopelessly caught up in His purposes alone!
